This policy explains how Elemental Lingua LTD ("we") uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage on Elemental Mandarin, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK GDPR.

Strictly necessary storage only

We only use storage that is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for. Under PECR these do not need your consent, so we do not show a consent banner. We do not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies.

• Sign-in session — keeps you logged in and secures your account (local storage, until you sign out).
• Interface preferences — remembers things like sidebar state (cookie, up to 7 days).
• Checkout — our payment provider Paddle sets cookies needed to process payments securely and prevent fraud when you open checkout. See Paddle's own privacy policy.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary storage you will not be able to sign in or pay.

Changes

If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
